Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 July 2026
Placeholder draft — this page describes how Book it Bru handles your data today, but hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Don’t treat it as a final privacy policy.
1. What we collect
To create an account and make bookings, we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number. When you book a service, we share the booking details — date, time, service, and who it's for — with the business you're booking with.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information to log you in (via a one-time email code), let businesses fulfil your bookings, send WhatsApp or email reminders about upcoming bookings, and let you leave reviews and manage your account.
3. Who sees your data
The business you book with sees your name, contact details, and booking information so they can serve you. We don't sell your data to third parties or share it with businesses you haven't booked with.
4. Where it's stored
Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, using industry-standard access controls. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect it, but no system is 100% secure.
5. Your choices
You can update your name and contact details any time from your account's profile settings. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us and we'll action it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
